The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 pm in the walled garden
Reception
2:00 pm - Walled Garden
After the ceremony, the reception will take place in the walled garden, where guests are invited to mingle, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere together.
Dinner & Speeches
4:30 pm - The Byre
Following the reception, guests will be invited to join us for dinner. During the meal, there will be a few speeches as we celebrate the day with family and friends.
Party
7:15 pm - The Byre
In the evening, additional guests will join us for the celebrations as the party continues. We’ll be finishing the day with a ceilidh and DJ, so everyone is invited to get involved, have fun, and enjoy the dancing.
OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
Hollie moved to Grantown Grammar School in fifth year with a strong accent, and we ended up going to prom together. After school we went our separate ways, with Hollie heading to university in Aberdeen. A year later we bumped into each other again in a very classy establishment (The Ben Mhor...), and the rest is history.
Fast forward to
Fast forward nine years and a lot has happened since. We’ve lived together in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and now we’re proud homeowners in Bathgate, where we live with our charismatic cat, Melo.
The proposal
During Covid we travelled the North Coast 500, where one of our favourite memories was watching the sunset on Spey Bay beach. It felt like the perfect place to return for the proposal. We spent the evening there sharing stories over an Indian takeaway and drinks. Although Hollie had already found the ring and uncovered Michael’s year of meticulous planning, the moment was still incredibly special.
